Scopely is looking for a SR Community Manager to join our Yahtzee with buddies team in Barcelona on a hybrid basis. Description

We are seeking a Senior Community Manager with a proven track record in establishing and leading social communities within the gaming industry. In this role, you will be responsible for building our community from the ground up, driving engagement strategies, fostering loyalty, and ensuring our players feel supported and connected.

What you will do

  1. Community Establishment and Growth:
  2. Assist in the creation and implementation of strategies to establish a strong and engaged gaming community.
  3. Support the setup and management of community platforms, such as forums, Discord, and social media channels.
  4. Collaborate with the Community Manager team to establish community guidelines, processes, and best practices.
  5. Player Engagement:
  6. Engage directly with players to build positive relationships and foster a sense of community.
  7. Help organize and manage events, contests, and activities to enhance player engagement.
  8. Collect and relay player feedback to the appropriate teams to inform decisions and improvements.
  9. Content and Communication:
  10. Assist in creating and sharing engaging content across community platforms.
  11. Respond to player inquiries and feedback with professionalism and enthusiasm.
  12. Maintain consistent and brand-aligned communication across all channels.
  13. Team Collaboration:
  14. Work closely with other Community Managers and teams such as marketing, development, and customer support to address player needs and align initiatives.
  15. Provide mentorship and guidance to junior team members as needed.
  16. Data and Reporting:
  17. Monitor community metrics, such as engagement and sentiment, and report trends to the team.
  18. Provide insights and observations to support ongoing improvement efforts.

What we are looking for

  1. 3-5 years of experience as a Community Manager in the online gaming or entertainment industry.
  2. Proven experience in establishing and growing gaming communities.
  3. Strong understanding of player behavior, motivations, and the dynamics of gaming communities.
  4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences.
  5. Familiarity with social media platforms, forums, Discord, and other community tools.
  6. Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and contribute to shared goals.
  7. Passion for gaming and knowledge of industry trends.
