About the Role :

As a quality assurance engineer, you will be a part of a cross-functional product team of 5-7 people, where you will :

1. Take ownership of your team's domain quality by proactively leading the testing plan for all layers of the testing pyramid.
2. Create new automated tests where and when relevant (e.g. E2E, Load, Security, etc).
3. Collaborate with the product development team (engineers and product managers) to understand business needs and define quality requirements.
4. Guide the team in the field of automation, and help them create better tests.
5. Lead bug bash sessions for new features.

We are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to support an agile product development team.

Preferred Experience

1. Relevant work experience in QA Engineer, Tester or Software Engineer roles.
2. Good knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
3. Experience working with test documentation (test cases, test plans, test scenarios, bug reports).
4. Experience in automation and manual testing for APIs and Web Applications.
5. Experience with automated testing frameworks (e.g. Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
6. Experience with source control tools such as GIT.
7. Analytical thinking, attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
8. Excellent communication skills; written and spoken.

Nice to have :

1. Experience of working as part of an Agile Software Development team.
2. Experience testing microservices and cloud applications.
3. Cross-browser / device testing experience.
4. A foundational understanding of SQL and databases.
5. Experience with performance and security testing.
6. Knowledge of contract testing.

We will be really excited if you also have :

1. Experience working with containerized solutions (e.g. Kubernetes, Docker).
2. Experience working with Xray Test Management.
3. Experience in building automated test frameworks from scratch.
