Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced Backend Developer who wants to help us to build both our own startup-like products and extensive e-commerce and custom-made solutions with the main focus on Spryker and Magento e-commerce!

Requirements

We expect you to have:

• Minimum 3 years of experience in developing web apps
• Skills in PHP, preferably Spryker, Magento and Symfony
• Strong DB knowledge, at least one relational and/or no-SQL database
• Strong experience with effective integration of external services and data providers
• Experience in the analysis, design and implementation of complex projects and use this to identify and avoid possible problems in advance.
• Experience with docker (or other virtualization technologies)
• You always keep performance in mind and you understand basic web-security principles (CORS, proper sanitation, data security, …)
• Nice to have: Experience with Elixir or NodeJS

Last but not least:

• You are interested in current web technologies and open to new things
• You convince your colleagues with your current knowledge in the development of web applications
• You have a strong ability to learn new topics

Procedure

Would you like to get to know us? We look forward to receiving your documents (including salary expectations)! If there is mutual interest, we will plan a first meeting via web conference. In the next step, we will send you a task that you have to solve within approx. 10 days. The result will then be reviewed and evaluated by your future team. In the second interview we talk about you, your plans and ideas as well as the submitted work. We will introduce you to our team and you will have the opportunity to talk to two of the four owners of the UFirst Group.
