About the Role :

The school is seeking an experienced Mathematics Teacher to teach Years 10 to 13, covering both IGCSE and IB Diploma curricula. The ideal candidate will have a passion for Mathematics, the ability to inspire students of varying abilities, and a commitment to continuous professional development. There is an opportunity for career progression, with the potential to take on the role of Head of Department for qualified candidates.

Key Responsibilities :

• Plan and deliver high-quality Mathematics lessons for IGCSE and IB Diploma students.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, providing timely feedback to support academic growth.
• Collaborate with colleagues to refine and enhance the Mathematics curriculum.
• Engage with the wider school community, participating in extracurricular activities and school events.
• Prepare students for external examinations, ensuring high levels of achievement.

Qualifications and Experience :

• Ideally a recognized teaching qualification in Mathematics (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
• Proven experience teaching Mathematics at IGCSE and / or IB Diploma levels.
• EU citizenship is preferred, though visa sponsorship may be offered for exceptional candidates.
