Our client, a major multinational company leader Group in Industrial Sector, is hiring:

SENIOR ACCOUNTANT con Inglés alto

PURPOSE OF POSITION:

Reporting to the Head of Accounting and Finance in Spain and CFO Europe, the selected person will be in charge of the accounting of USA (with SAP acquisition of the local accountancy) in contact with the official Administrative figure placed in United States. Also, he/she will be a high collaborating person in the accounting of the Spanish Business Plant Unit.

GENERAL FUNCTIONS AND SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Accounts Payable control. Collaborating with Accounts Payable Assistant and being responsible for preparing payments.
2. General Ledger reconciliations and controls.
3. You will work closely with the other members of the Finance team in Spain/USA, to have the closings done accurately and in time, in line with the deadlines set by HQ in Europe.
4. You will be responsible, under the supervision of the Finance & Accounting Manager, for yearly compliance with respect to VAT, income taxes, and annual accounts.
5. Controls the accounts receivable ledger and the dunning process.
6. Supervises the bank statement postings as well as the reconciliation of the bank accounts and petty cash.
7. Reconciliation of all tax accounts.
8. Guarantees the timely and accurate reporting to local authorities.
9. Maintains the general ledger.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS REQUIRED:

You have a bachelor's degree in accountancy (taxation) and at least 5 years of experience in a similar position and have strong working knowledge of the entire accounting cycle, with IFRS/US GAAP requirements.
Excellent level of English (Speaking and Written).
Good oral communication skills.
Experience with SAP.
You can work fluently with Microsoft Excel.

Fixed contract with an initial trial period.
Possibility of teleworking after the trial period. Flexibility with the timetable. Good Compensation & Benefits package.

SALARY: Between 30-35 plus bonus and Social Benefits, permanent position.
