Senior Accountant (Maternity leave coverage)

Join our team as a Senior Accountant and take ownership of the general ledger, month-end closing procedures, and taxes. In this key position, you will have the opportunity to lead and optimize critical financial processes, ensuring accuracy and compliance with our tax obligations. This position will be a one-year contract to cover a maternity leave.

As a Senior Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

1. Verifying, allocating, posting and reconciling of G/L accounts
2. Supervise, submit and report taxes
3. Support External and Internal Audits
4. Monthly closings
5. Balance Sheet reconciliations
6. Manage IFRS16
7. Perform Transfer Price and IC reconciliation
8. Any other ad-hoc duties as required
9. Analyzing financial information and summarizing financial status
10. Continued focus on improving system efficiencies and business practices

YOUR TALENT

Education:

1. University degree in business administration
2. Solid operational and technical accounting background and works proactively to drive results
3. Fluent in English
4. Strong knowledge of SAP and Excel

Experience:

1. 3-5 years of accounting experience
2. Demonstrated tax reporting experience
