The Role of Security Supervisor:

Four Seasons Hotel Madrid is looking for a Security Supervisor to join our team. The Security Supervisor is responsible for managing the day-to-day security operation and ensuring the safety and security of all guests, residents, employees, and property. The role includes risk and loss management of the property, as well as taking a lead in workplace safety and life/fire safety systems, preventing situations that could jeopardize the safety and operation of the hotel.

1. Supervise the shift safety & security operations, ensuring adequate patrol patterns and frequencies are maintained to ensure the safety and security of guests and associates.
2. Responsible for checking all fire and life safety equipment are within the expiry limits (such as handheld chemical extinguishers etc).
3. Ensure prompt reporting of maintenance issues by safety & security officers as they record them during their patrols.
4. Conduct random bag inspections of associates entering and leaving the building. Ensure asset removal policy is adhered to, to prevent hotel assets being removed from the hotel without the proper authority.
5. Maintain perimeter patrols at points of entry and egress to ensure that all people within the hotel environs have a genuine purpose and are not loitering or are present for other reasons.
6. Regularly attend to the common area where guests present and make guests feel delighted and secured. For example, greeting guests at the club lounge, holding doors at the entrance, assisting with deliveries when necessary.
7. Take appropriate action to resolve guest complaints. Communicate with guests in a manner which promotes goodwill, trust, and satisfaction.
8. Initiate action to correct a hazardous situation and notify supervisors of potential dangers.

Our ideal Security Supervisor:

As an ambassador of Four Seasons, our ideal Security Supervisor candidate will have strong leadership and communication skills and good problem-solving ability. Applicants are required to have two years experience of public or private security in a supervisory/managerial capacity. AT.I.P Director of Security is required. Applicants also are required to have a flexible schedule and the ability to work all shifts, weekends, and holidays. First Aid, CPR, and Defibrillator Certification is also preferred. Must have the legal right to work in Spain and have fluency in English and Spanish.
