Scheduling and Slots Analyst, Barcelona

Responsibilities:

• Creation and daily management of Volotea’s schedule, from early steps to short term program.
• Assistance in the implementation of new automatization processes within the department.
• Administration and management of the reservation system.
• Management of Volotea's slots portfolio, aiming to preserve historic rights and increase peak time historic slots in strategic airports in order to strengthen airline future position.
• Creation and weekly management of schedule and slots databases.
• Analysis of airport capacity and slots constraints in order to solve slots-schedule discrepancies.
• Coordinate and optimize Schedule in cooperation with other departments, especially Network planning and OPS departments.
• Support the department in any additional task that may arise.

What you will need:

• Aeronautical Management or Engineering Degree. Mathematics, Physics, or any other technical degree can be considered.
• Advanced skills in Office package (Excel is a kids game for you. Expert dealing with presentations & PowerPoint. Knowledge of programming will be an asset).
• Ability to think analytically, quantitatively, and creatively. You are able to get conclusions from complex data.
• You love playing with different sources of data to identify and define new process improvement opportunities.
• Methodical person, with high ability to work with tight deadlines.
• Good communication skills.
• Knowledge of Netline and Navitaire will be a plus.
• Advanced level of English. Knowledge of Spanish, French, and Italian will be a plus.
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment on multiple tasks and problems.
