SAP in-house Logistics Consultant - Full Time - Madrid, Spain

We are looking for an SAP in-house Logistics Consultant to join our GF_IT team in Spain.

Your main tasks and responsibilities:

1. Design and delivery of SAP solutions that meet business requirements, whilst also ensuring global process and system harmonization.
2. Provide 2nd/3rd level support for production incident resolution.
3. Provide SAP training to key users/project team.
4. Responsible for executing assigned activities including:
1. Configuring the SAP system and system documentation.
2. Performing system testing.
3. Writing functional specifications in the development of RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements & Forms).
4. Maintaining SAP user manuals.
5. Developing and supporting SAP integration with other 3rd-party systems.
6. Support system upgrades and patches.
5. Adoption of best practices & compliance management by developing new SAP tools, features & enhancements.
6. Coordinate activities with external SAP consultants.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in technical or business studies or equivalent.
2. Minimum 5 years of working experience in SAP modules MM (Material Management). Knowledge of SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) or SAP WM (Warehouse Management) would be a plus.
3. Good understanding of how to turn business requirements into ERP processes.
4. Good understanding of business processes.
5. Ability to make a strong business case on global best practices.
6. Excellent understanding of SAP.
7. Good team player.
8. Ability to learn new technologies and processes quickly and adaptable to changes in timelines and sequences.
9. Fluent English required – other languages are an advantage.
