SAP in-house Logistics Consultant - Full Time - Madrid, Spain

We are looking for an SAP in-house Logistics Consultant to join our GF_IT team in Spain.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
- Design and delivery of SAP solutions that meet business requirements, whilst also ensuring global process and system harmonization.
- Provide 2nd/3rd level support for production incident resolution.
- Provide SAP training to key users/project team.
- Responsible for executing assigned activities including:
- Configuring the SAP system and system documentation.
- Performing system testing.
- Writing functional specifications in the development of RICEF (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements & Forms).
- Maintaining SAP user manuals.
- Developing and supporting SAP integration with other 3rd-party systems.
- Support system upgrades and patches.
- Adoption of best practices & compliance management by developing new SAP tools, features & enhancements.
- Coordinate activities with external SAP consultants.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in technical or business studies or equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in SAP modules MM (Material Management). Knowledge of SAP EWM (Extended Warehouse Management) or SAP WM (Warehouse Management) would be a plus.
- Good understanding of how to turn business requirements into ERP processes.
- Good understanding of business processes.
- Ability to make a strong business case on global best practices.
- Excellent understanding of SAP.
- Good team player.
- Ability to learn new technologies and processes quickly and adaptable to changes in timelines and sequences.
- Fluent English required – other languages are an advantage.
