Desarrollador Java (team lead)
ElCactus is looking for Java Software Developers to work in a long-term project with our client, a global Swiss company leader in manufacturing (GF).

About the role:
You will take part in the building of new Java developments. You will be the technical leader of an initial 4 devs team, being the focal point with the GF global solution architect. Working with our development team and collaborating to evolve the platform according to requirements from digital business. Testing and examining code written by others and analyzing results. Identifying technical problems and developing software updates and fixes. Working with software developers and software engineers to ensure that development follows established processes.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop Java-based products.
2. Design and implement automated tests for your code.
3. Write clean code.
4. Take responsibility for quality and long-term maintainability of the developed software.
5. Ensure the software is up-to-date with the latest technologies.
6. Contribute to the continuous improvement of our processes following agile principles.

WHAT YOU WILL NEED:

• Be able to work and speak fluently in English.
• Experience in Java and SpringBoot.
• Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL Databases.
• Ideally some experience with MicroServices and distributed architecture.
• Willing to learn new technologies and improve existing solutions constantly.
• At least 4 years of experience with Java software development.

SALARY AND BENEFITS:
The salary will be estimated at 50,000 but will be based on the experience of the candidate.
