What you'll be doing
As Lead Network Engineer, you'll play a key role in shaping their technology, ensuring the stability, scalability, and performance of their network infrastructure through automation, testing, and best practices.
Your work will impact reliable services for their customers and promote continuous improvement. You'll lead a talented team, driving innovation in network design and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business objectives, ensuring scalability, security, and resilience.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop a high-performing network engineering team, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
- Drive the design, implementation, and optimization of network solutions that support business goals and enhance overall performance.
- Champion change initiatives and handle complex technical challenges, ensuring the team is equipped to address evolving needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless alignment of technical solutions and business objectives.
- Drive and enforce best practices for network monitoring, logging, and alerting, ensuring systems are always optimized and secure.
- Work in an agile environment, managing priorities effectively to deliver high-quality, efficient network solutions.

- Proven ability to lead and guide team members in their growth.

- Excellent communication skills and the ability to convey technical concepts clearly.
Technical Expertise
- Deep understanding of networking protocols (TCP / IP, BGP, OSPF, VLANs, etc.) and routing, load balancing, and switching.
- Strong troubleshooting and performance issue resolution skills.
- Experience with security tools (firewalls, VPNs, intrusion detection, etc.) and network design.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and network automation tools (Ansible, Python).
- Able to review network design and architecture documents.
- Experience with ops culture and good understanding of metrics, alarms and dashboards.
- Strong network design skills, including the ability to design and implement network architectures that meet the needs of the organization.
