Being the face of Shimano, ensuring an excellent business relationship, advising our customers on market trends and offering them the opportunity to purchase not only Shimano Bike components, but also Soft goods like Shoes, Clothing, Lazer Helmets etc.

Some of the exciting tasks of our Sales Representative position within Shimano Iberia.

Together with your colleagues you will take care of the sales opportunities in Spain, with your region being Balearic Islands (Based in Mallorca).

In this role, you will join the Sales Representative team consisting of 13 direct colleagues and you will report to the Sales Managers and advise them, in accordance with the market action plan, in order to realize sales targets. For this position, we are looking for a proactive self-starter who is driven by results and is always keeping customer satisfaction in mind. Working in your region as if it is your own small business, you have the freedom and discipline to chase your targets and realize sales. You have good analytical skills as you will be analyzing market data and you are able to plan your time efficiently. Next to that, you are flexible and adaptable because this job includes regular travel.

Last but not least, you are personable and passionate about Shimano products which allows you to solve customer issues and retain your commercial position.

The Challenge

Visit your customers across Balearic Islands area to support with orders and product information maximizing customer satisfaction and sales.

  1. Create visit reports to ensure continuity in service and records of market information.
  2. Scope out new business within your region and reach out to new business opportunities.
  3. Formulate strategic plans with the Sales Managers to maximize future sales and realize targets.
  4. Improve the visibility of our products at the retailers' shops.
  5. Represent Shimano at trade shows and events.

What are we looking for?

  1. At least 3-5 years of relevant experience, preferably in the bicycle industry.
  2. Experience with B2B sales.
  3. Excellent communication skills, you can adapt to different audiences and actively listen to their needs.
  4. Good language skills in English and Spanish. German will be valued.
  5. Affinity with the bicycle industry and/or its products.
