Sales Manager

Support Local GES / Treasuries needs as well as key coordination role with Corporate Treasury.

Main Responsibilities

1. Working Capital: analysis of any initiative that maintains/improves CEMEX’s WC; Account Receivables (Factoring, Securitization, Inverse Supplier Finance, LCs), Account Payables (Supplier Finance and LCs), Inventories (Inventory Consignment), and other alternatives that will influence payment or collection terms (with the intervention of a third party).
2. Asset financing: analysis of requests from different BUs; Financial and operating lease analysis to advance accounting test (NPV Lease Payments / AV) and study financial ratios such as IRR, ROCE, and AV / AR ratio (CAPEX vs. leasing). Control: CAPEX / lease approvals in line with CAPEX allocation. Review legal documentation.
3. Support Corporate Financing Department: (i) banking relationships and (ii) bilateral financing opportunities.
4. Pension Funds.
5. Support Corporate Strategic Planning (M&A projects).
6. Reporting.

Qualifications

1. Academic background: degree in Business Administration (or similar).
2. Experience: 5+ years in Treasury / Finance departments.
3. Languages: very strong English skills are needed. Very high level (spoken and written).
4. Computer skills: desktop applications (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word).
5. Soft Skills: teamwork and self-motivated.

Internal / External Relations

INTERNAL

1. Local Treasuries (7 BUs in Europe and 4 in AMEA).
2. Regional EMEA Teams: Legal, Tax and Planning.
3. Corporate Teams: Treasury and Corporate Financing.

EXTERNAL

1. Local and International banks / financial organizations.
2. To a lesser extent, external consultants.
