Founding Engineer (Senior Back-end / Full-stack) - AI Platform for Ops and Sales automation

We are an early-stage AI startup with the vision to make European SMBs (small and medium businesses) competitive again. We believe SMBs are the real heroes of the economy - they employ around 70% of the workforce, and they embody the long heritage of European entrepreneurship.

Today, SMBs face serious existential threats - up to 45% of SMBs believe that their companies will disappear in the next 5-10 years. Today, SMBs are not able to keep the AI pace. Large Enterprises outpace them in tech resources, and AI infra players forget their needs. We are here to change it.

We provide SMBs access to frontier AI with zero-setup solutions to optimize their sales and ops processes. We help SMBs to increase x4 their productivity without increasing their resources.

What will you do?

As a founding Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of building intelligent automation processes leveraging AI agents. This is an opportunity to drive AI innovation from the ground up - designing, developing, and deploying automations that transform the day-to-day of SMB sales, customer support, and back-office tasks.

Your goal is to integrate AI into SMB processes with the minimum amount of friction and hands-on support required. Specifically, you will:

• Develop an agent orchestrator to automate most frequent sales & ops processes without any set-up required;
• Architect AI pipeline - including data pipeline, model evaluation, refinement, and fine-tuning;
• Orchestrate the execution of VMs and containerized environments;
• Implement CI / CD pipelines to streamline deployment, testing, and iteration of automation workflows;
• Integrate third-party APIs and automation tools;
• Develop any other back-end processes and infrastructure, including MLOps;
• Help scale high performing engineering organization, and mentor junior engineers as the team grows.

Capabilities-wise

• 5+ years of full-stack / back-end software engineering
• Experience in cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), Virtual Machines, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Experience architecting AI pipelines (i.e. data pipelines; knowledge of vector databases; search / retrieval; evaluation techniques; AI / ML frameworks)
