Technical Sales Manager – Personal Care

Location: Remote – Spain (Barcelona, Madrid, Valencia preferred)

A leading global personal care and cosmetic ingredient distributor seeks a Technical Sales Manager to drive business development and expand its market presence in Spain. This role presents an opportunity to progress into a European-level position based on performance and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Develop and execute a sales strategy to drive personal care & cosmetics business growth.
2. Identify and develop new business opportunities, expanding the customer base.
3. Provide technical expertise and support to clients on cosmetic ingredients and formulations.
4. Manage and nurture existing customer relationships, ensuring long-term business partnerships.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing and product development, to align sales strategies.
6. Conduct market analysis, identifying key trends and competitive insights to optimize sales approaches.
7. Achieve sales targets and KPIs, contributing to the company’s growth and market positioning.

Candidate Profile:

1. Experience: Minimum 3–5 years in B2B technical sales within the personal care & cosmetics industry (ingredients distribution preferred).
2. Industry Knowledge: Strong understanding of cosmetic ingredients, formulations, and their applications.
3. Sales Expertise: Proven track record in new business development and account management.
4. Communication Skills: Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
5. Languages: Fluency in Spanish & English (additional European languages are an advantage).

Work Location:

Remote role, with a preference for candidates based in Barcelona, Madrid, or Valencia.

Education:

A degree in chemistry, cosmetic science, or a related field is advantageous but not essential.
