Safety Manager

As a Safety Manager in the industry sector, your role will be pivotal in ensuring that all safety protocols are adhered to, fostering a secure environment for our operations and personnel. Your expertise will support clients in one of these locations: Madrid, Sevilla, or Cádiz, effectively contributing to the enhancement of safety standards within the industry.

What would you be doing in your day to day?

• Develop and implement safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Conduct regular safety audits, risk assessments, and inspections.
• Provide training and guidance to teams on safety practices and emergency response protocols.
• Investigate accidents and incidents to determine causes and preventive measures.
• Collaborate with management to develop safety goals and objectives.
• Maintain detailed records and reports on safety-related activities.
• Conduct safety studies: FERA / EERA / Fallen objects / Hazardous area classification / Waste management / Access and evacuation assessments.
• Plan fire control and safety / ATEX plans.
• Review SDS and C&E HVAC, process drains, 3D model interfaces.
• Apply applicable legislation to determine technical requirements or deviations from customer contract requirements.
• Safety Case / ALARP.
• Update fire water system PIDs / PIPENET calculations.
• Design updates (F&G / Evacuation routes and LSAs, hazardous areas, fire detection, safety panels).
• Development of specifications and technical sheets.
• Technical evaluations of bids and review of vendor documentation.
• Updating of FSAs (FERA, EERA, etc.).

• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in safety management.
• Proven track record of implementing and maintaining safety programs.
• Strong understanding of safety regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent communication and training skills.
• Good level of English.
