About the role:

This is a special and important role for us: we are looking for an engineer with a deep interest in security to help us build new detection methods, monitor threats as they happen, and analyze our massive amount of data on script behaviours to prevent client-side attacks for our customers.

What you will do:

• Monitor attacks globally, utilizing our extensive data to discover new attack methods, develop detection strategies, and implement them.
• Review existing in-house detections and refine them as necessary.
• Proactively define detections for potentially malicious client-side behaviours and analyze this against our script data.
• Use and develop internal tools to detect previously unseen attacks.

About you:

• You enjoy a cat-and-mouse game!
• You are motivated by the opportunity to stop bad actors from impacting individuals.
• You have a keen interest in the nuances of client-side JavaScript and JS engine construction.
• You’ve experimented with LLMs and are eager to apply AI in security detections.
• You’ve engaged in capture the flag events or participate in white hat hacking or bug bounties.
• You are self-managing and aspire to disrupt the client-side and web security market.
• You have at least 3-5 years of relevant work experience.
