RTL DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER (FPGA EXPERT)

New role in Spain! Our client, a leading global IT service provider, is recruiting for a RTL DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER (FPGA EXPERT)!

Skills needed:

1. Fluent in English and Spanish (written and spoken)
2. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related field
3. 10+ years of hands-on experience in RTL design for FPGAs, including Xilinx/AMD devices
4. Extensive experience with Xilinx Vivado Design Suite, including synthesis, simulation, and debugging
5. Solid understanding of FPGA architecture, timing analysis, and clock domain crossing (CDC) techniques
6. Expertise in VHDL/Verilog/SystemVerilog coding for RTL design
7. Familiarity with FPGA verification methodologies, including simulation and constrained random testing
8. Experience with Xilinx Zynq SoC (including Zynq UltraScale+) for hardware-software integration
9. Proficiency in Vivado HLS (High-Level Synthesis) and familiarity with C/C++ algorithm conversion into hardware
10. Familiarity with AXI, PCIe, Ethernet, or other high-speed interfaces
11. Knowledge of FPGA design for signal processing, communication systems, or AI/ML accelerators
12. Familiarity with TCL scripting and automation in Vivado
13. Experience with embedded system design and development
14. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex digital designs
15. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
16. Ability to work in a team and independently with minimal supervision
17. Strong attention to detail and ability to document designs and processes thoroughly
