OPERATIONS

PRICING STRATEGY

  • Support the implementation of the pricing strategy through all systems and channels.
  • Manage Duetto RMS on a daily basis by creating the pricing rules necessary to implement the hotel's strategy, and audit the accuracy of the data shown in the tool.
  • Ensure adequate inventory management of the hotels in the portfolio, ensuring that the inventory available for sale reflects the reality of the hotel, using the overbooking strategy when necessary.
  • Ensure that all hotels appear correctly in the different distribution channels, showing the parity and the desired positioning, reporting to the sales team any possible errors in content or possible improvements.
  • Lead channel management and ensure that the pricing strategy defined by market segment is correctly implemented on each platform.
  • Set up and follow up on daily overbooking decisions.
  • Coordinate the uploading of participation defined for promotions and campaigns. Audit that this load is shown as agreed in all distribution channels.
  • Find events at the destination that may influence demand, establishing an event calendar with the sales team.
  • Verify that the daily rate is positioned correctly considering competitors, the daily pick-up, and the hotel's goals.
  • Review and analyze the pricing strategy of the hotels in the compset according to different conditions.
  • Interact with the G&E department to ensure that the pricing guidelines and strategy decided by revenue management are followed.

FORECASTING AND BUDGET

  • Introduce the weekly forecast appropriately within necessary deadlines on internal platforms.
  • Assist in the creation of 'what if' scenarios and group relocation analysis.
  • Enter the annual budget into the system, ensuring the accuracy of the data entered.
  • Manage and follow up on requests in the Jira tool related to RM.
  • Monitor the hotel's market penetration daily and other relevant ratios.
  • Monitor the pricing behavior of the hotels in the compset using rate shopping tools, identifying practical opportunities.

REPORTING AND DATA ACCURACY

  • Generate and update both regular and ad-hoc reports for meetings and analysis.
  • Ensure the accuracy of the data entered in the PMS and internal tools.
  • Generate alerts for potential data integrity problems and report them immediately.

DIRECT CHANNEL MANAGEMENT AND PROFITABILITY

  • Prioritize direct channel sales over third parties, especially during high demand.
  • Use available tools to disintermediate OTAs and other commissioned channels.

CUSTOMER EXPERIENCE

  • Be knowledgeable of the Brand philosophy and comply with operational and identity manuals.
  • Ensure the customer experience and personalize their stay, anticipating needs and exceeding expectations.
  • Deal with customer incidents and communicate actions taken.
  • Be knowledgeable of the Voice of the Customer goals and execute necessary actions.
  • Support the manager with the Sensory Architecture established for their areas.
  • Promote the hotel’s services and facilities as well as the entertainment programme, experiences, and events.

HEALTH & SAFETY// HEALTHY WORKPLACE

  • Be knowledgeable of the hotel’s evacuation plan.
  • Use personal protective equipment correctly.
  • Be knowledgeable of methods, work procedures, and risks inherent to their activity.
  • Assume responsibilities assigned in the Occupational Health and Safety Management System Manual.

REQUIREMENTS

EDUCATION AND TRAINING: Degree or equivalent in business studies or hotel management. Revenue Management training will be valued positively.

LANGUAGES: Local language (depending on the geographical location) and advanced English.

SPECIFIC KNOWLEDGE:

  • Knowledge and experience in pricing concepts, performance management optimization, electronic distribution channels, and commercial sales strategies.
  • Proficiency in Office package: Excel, dynamic tables, Pivot, PowerPoint, Word.
  • Knowledge of SAP; Opera is valuable.
  • Knowledge of hotel operations.
  • Demonstrate analytical and numerical skills.
  • Ability to make decisions in the absence of the Manager and to lead the team if necessary.
  • Ability to work under pressure while paying attention to detail.
  • Leadership, proactivity, and initiative.

EXPERIENCE: 1 year experience as revenue management executive.
