Remote Operation Center -ROC- Night Shift Supervisor

Mission

The Global Remote Operation Center (ROC) mission is to centralize the 24/7 monitoring, control, and optimization of remote assets (solar plants), systems, and processes, ensuring operational efficiency, safety, reliability, operational market processes, and cost-effectiveness across distributed operations. By leveraging technology, data analytics, and a skilled team, the ROC aims to enable real-time decision-making and seamless communication, supporting field operations and maximizing the performance of critical infrastructure.

The position's mission is to coordinate the shift operations to ensure the remote monitoring of solar plants in operation in order to achieve the desired availability levels, as well as ensuring continuous improvement of projects through maximizing production in renewable plants.

Responsibilities

1. Be part of the team in charge of generating plans to 24/7 monitor production loss events, with the vision of maximizing production in renewable plants.
2. Coordinate the Night shift team that makes up the shift to ensure business continuity of remote operations of own and third-party assets.
3. Enter into shift rotation operation in order to ensure operations with the rest of the ROC supervisors.
4. Optimize the production of solar plants in coordination with the rest of the departments: Asset Management, Operational Maintenance (O&M), Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC), etc.
5. Coordinate daily, monthly, and annual production reports and monitor incidents, including monthly presentations of production results and efficiency indicators.
6. Analyze production data and efficiency indicators of projects and compare solidity and consistency to check the accuracy of instrumentation equipment.
7. Provide remote support to plants during start-up, at the end of the day, and during the resolution of incidents.
8. Know and comply with the regulations, procedures, and instructions that affect your work, particularly prevention and protection measures.
9. Coordinate the monitoring of the operation of the plants, analyzing production data and incidents that are recorded.
10. Define and implement the ROC processes, instructions, and routines.
11. Monitor maintenance tasks, improvements, updates, and integration of new plants in the ROC portfolio management system and the maintenance management system.
12. Follow up on the correct implementation of the real-time management system that will be integrated into the Control Center.
13. Collaborate in the integration of health and safety in your work area.

Job Requirements

1. Availability to work shifts and at night.
2. University technical degree or Vocational Training, Higher Degree in electricity and electronics.
3. Performance analysis skills for solar plants.
4. Experience with maintenance management systems (CMMS).
5. Knowledge of SCADA Systems.

Minimum of 4-5 years' experience in operation and maintenance work or as a Remote Control Center technician (preferably in renewable projects).
