Be fully familiar with Project contract requirements, policies, and procedures; ensure that the requirements related to the yard activities are duly implemented.
Manage and Coordinate Completion Management activities using Project Completions Management tool.
Coordinate activities of welding inspectors and Turnover Engineers.
Sponsor the punch listing process, providing guidance and support to Wood supervisor as necessary. Participate in Completion delivery process as per Project procedure; ensure Contractor follows requirements set in “Mechanical Completion” procedure.
Ensure that the prescribed standard of Quality Control is maintained at Site, including, but not limited to, the following:
Verify the availability at site of latest revision of "approved for construction" drawings, job specifications, purchase orders, and material requisitions.
Ensure that inspections are in-time recorded on relevant ITR’s in accordance with Inspection & Test plans and applicable standards.
Ensure the availability of up-to-date approved Welding Books, welding procedures, and current welders' qualification and monitor their implementation on site welding activities.
Verify the maintenance of welding records and materials traceability.
Audit Contractors ensuring that all Quality Control procedures and other field procedures included in Construction Quality Control Plan are kept updated and properly distributed.
Ensure that Contractors have implemented an effective way of communication and distribution of updated QC templates and procedures to all site staff to guarantee only latest updated templates/documentation are utilized.
Audit periodically site organizations assuring that rectification of any mistakes, errors, flaws, or failures are being carried out and that results are notified, recorded, and distributed.
Verify that calibrated measuring tools only are utilized on site.
Monitor that material quality and all field tests are made according to project technical documents and applicable codes/standards and specifications.
Requirements
Discipline Engineering degree background.
Extensive experience in the Oil and Gas industry, with at least 15 years of professional experience and minimum 8 years in a similar position.
Experience in Quality Control, Inspection, and Completions Management activities.
Fluent in English.
Capable of communicating in an articulate manner with clients and contractors.
Good interpersonal skills with sound written and oral communication skills, capability to work cooperatively in a multicultural/international team.
Highly motivated, well organized, resourceful, and proactive.
Flexible approach and able to work under pressure with a “can-do” attitude.
