We’re Hiring : Qualified Accountant – Bilingual Spanish / English – Based in Madrid

Are you a proactive and detail-oriented finance professional looking to join an international software company? Asolvi is looking for a Qualified Accountant to join our Finance Team and take ownership of financial operations across Spain, Argentina, and Colombia.

Schedule : Full-time, 40 hours / week

Salary : Competitive

Languages : Fluent in Spanish and English (oral and written) – mandatory

About the Role

You’ll report directly to our Shareholders and Regional Managing Director, and play a key role in financial and management reporting, coordination with local teams, and supporting strategic decision-making across the region.

Key Responsibilities :

1. Month-end reporting for 3 regions, including financial statements and commentary
2. Day-to-day financial process management
3. Financial administration in Spain and coordination with LATAM teams
4. Liaising with internal directors and external advisors
5. Support with tax filings and statutory obligations (e.g., VAT)
6. Payroll management and approval of outgoing payments
7. Balance sheet ownership and reconciliations
8. Managing the fixed asset register
9. Supporting budget forecasts and risk mitigation

What Will Make You Stand Out :

1. At least 4 years of experience in a similar accounting role
2. Solid understanding of revenue recognition and cost allocation
3. Advanced Excel skills (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, INDEX / MATCH, etc.)
4. Experience with accounting software
5. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
6. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
7. Up-to-date knowledge of local accounting legislation
8. Growth mindset and adaptability
