About the Company: HIP is the leading investor in leisure hotels in southern Europe, with more than 22,000 rooms located in the top tourist destinations of Spain, Italy, Greece, and Portugal. HIP is looking for a Consolidation & Audit Senior Analyst for its Finance & Corporate Development Department.

Responsibilities

1. Prepare financial consolidation models and corporate reporting package on a monthly basis.
2. Assist with the monthly review and year-end audit process.
3. Ensure efficient and successful year-end close and satisfactory audit results with minimal issues identified.
4. Prepare consolidated financial statements under IFRS.
5. Support in process improvements, external audit, and ad hoc projects.
6. Ensure consolidated financial reporting packages follow corporate reporting standards, corporate accounting policies, and IFRS.
7. Be the point of contact for the shareholder Finance organization, liaising with the team to ensure the quality and integrity of the financial data.

Key Competences Required

1. Bachelor’s degree in business administration.
2. 4 years of experience in Big4.
3. Proven knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and standards.
4. Strong understanding of IFRS Standards.
5. Ability to act and operate independently with minimal daily direction from Director to accomplish objectives.
6. Intermediate to advanced computer skills, especially MS Excel.
7. Ability to work well and communicate with various leads within the organization and to work closely as required with other functional areas such as tax, treasury, and operating companies accounting leaders.
8. Problem resolution, analytical and accounting skills.
9. High attention to detail and accuracy.
10. High level of English, spoken and written.
