QA Engineer

I am looking for a QA Engineer to join a leading provider of digital asset integration services for enterprise treasury operations. The role is permanent and fully remote from Spain.

Your Mission:

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. The perfect candidate would be passionate about quality and about ensuring the absolute best customer experience in a challenging world of making cryptocurrencies easily accessible to non-technical users.

What You'll Do:

1. Work as part of the testing team with a strong focus on quality
2. Work closely with software engineers to define and write high quality test plans
3. Define QA metrics and reports that will be used to determine & communicate testing results
4. Document and raise defects in a clear and concise way
5. Collaborate with the product owner to assist executing UAT & manual test plans
6. Develop efficient test strategies to determine product quality and release readiness
7. Review requirements and engineering designs
8. Record test progress and results
9. Plan releases and release testing
10. Research new tools, technologies, and testing processes as required to meet high quality standards
11. Identify, isolate, and track bugs throughout testing
12. Review user interfaces for consistency and functionality
13. Execute manual and automated test suites

What You'll Bring:

1. BS or MS degree in Computer Science or a related technical field
2. 3+ years’ experience in quality assurance area
3. English (C1) required (it will be your operating language)
4. Experience testing microservices
5. Experience designing & executing test plans
6. Familiarity with REST Web Services
7. Experience with version control systems (ideally Git)
8. Ability to contribute productively to a fast-paced development team
9. Strong analytical and problem solving skills
10. Passion for quality
11. General programming knowledge

Bonus Points:

1. A passion for Blockchain / Cryptocurrencies
2. Experience with load testing using Gatling
3. Experience with UI and API test automation frameworks like Cypress or Serenity
4. Experience working with Screenplay testing pattern
5. Java and Typescript knowledge
6. Experience working remotely within a team
