Permit to Work coordinators are responsible for managing the full process of obtaining permits to work, including reviewing applications for completeness, conducting inspections, issuing permits, and enforcing permit conditions. Responsibilities include:

• Review and authorize PTWs
• Develop and update all PTW procedures, instructions, protocols, registers, and forms
• Ensure that all procedures and requirements related to PTW are followed by all parties
• Ensure that all permits are issued in a timely manner while maintaining compliance with HSE requirements
• Coordinate Owner’s Contractors/Subcontractors on Site throughout the permitting process
• Ensure that field checks and pre-task talks are done through audits and inspections
• Ensure that all possible interferences on Site are managed through PTW
• Update the PTW board, including the Fatal Risk Management, as needed
• Communicate with Owner about the status of permitting applications and respond to questions about the permitting process
• Check the adequacy of personnel belonging to the Owner’s Contractors and promote any actions required to achieve objectives
• Collaborate on exciting projects to develop innovative solutions
