We are looking for someone with experience in this industry who can help us keep growing. Above all, we are seeking an individual who enjoys working in a team, can express ideas assertively, and wants to contribute, learn, and feel useful. We are seeking a Project Manager - RAP (100% remote) to lead technology projects from inception to delivery and monitoring. This role requires expertise in project management best practices, acting as a key liaison between business and technical teams. The Project Manager will ensure projects align with strategic objectives, delivering within scope, time, and budget. This position blends business analysis, project management skills, and a fundamental understanding of relevant technologies. The ideal candidate combines strategic vision with hands-on execution to optimize and scale processes.

✦ Team presentation

You would be part of the IT Delivery team. We currently have more than 40 colleagues working internationally from home. For us, companionship and enjoyment when doing our work come first. ✦ What will you do?

  1. In 1 month: Get to know the team, main projects and stakeholders with their characteristics and interlocutors. Familiarize yourself with the framework and work technologies. Understand and follow corporate procedures (time entry, vacation requests, communications, ...). Start contributing and proposing improvements based on your previous experience and knowledge. You will begin to solve your first incidents, question and propose solutions.
  2. In 3 months: You will have autonomy and will be working independently with stakeholders and projects. Help your colleagues progress. Contribute to the evolution and improvement of Holafly projects, as well as work methodologies and tools.
  3. In 6 months: You will be in charge of projects/initiatives appropriate to your expertise and knowledge, interacting with the stakeholders and proposing solutions. At all times you will have the collaboration of your colleagues for any questions you may need. You will continue to evolve technically.

✦ Responsibilities

  1. Project Lifecycle Management:
    1. Plan, execute, monitor, and close technology projects using agile (Scrum, Kanban) and traditional (Waterfall) methodologies as needed.
    2. Define project scope, objectives, deliverables and schedule.
    3. Manage risks, issues, and changes throughout the project lifecycle.
    4. Track project progress and communicate status to stakeholders.
  2. Business Analysis and Requirements:
    1. Collaborate with business areas to understand their needs and translate them into clear and concise technical requirements.
    2. Create and maintain project documentation.
  3. Product Backlog Management (in an agile context):
    1. Define and prioritize the product backlog in collaboration with stakeholders and regarding C-Level priorities.
    2. Manage iterations or sprints, ensuring that established objectives are met.
    3. Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, sprint review, and retrospective meetings.
  4. Communication and Collaboration:
    1. Act as the primary point of contact between business areas and the technical team.
    2. Facilitate communication and collaboration between different teams involved in the project.
    3. Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate project progress clearly and effectively.
  5. Continuous Improvement and Change Management:
    1. Identify opportunities for improvement in project management processes.
    2. Promote the adoption of best practices in project management and software development.
    3. Facilitate change management during the implementation of new systems or processes.
  6. Technical Knowledge:
    1. Demonstrate a basic understanding of the technologies used in projects.
    2. Be able to communicate effectively with the technical team.
    3. Not required to be a technical expert but understand basic concepts and technical language.

✦ What do we expect?

  1. Personally: Initiative and problem-solving skills. Teamwork and empathy towards colleagues and stakeholders. Results-driven, self-motivated, and able to work independently. Bilingual Proficiency: Fluency in Spanish and English (C1 minimum).
  2. Technical background and skills: Solid base in the following areas or technologies:
  1. +3 years experience in managing technology projects, ideally in a digital environment.
  2. Knowledge and demonstrable experience in applying agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban) and traditional methodologies (Waterfall). Having certifications is a plus!
  3. Solid business analysis and requirements management skills.
  4. Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills.
  5. Ability to work in a team and collaborate with different areas.
  6. Basic knowledge of information technologies (e.g., databases, web development, infrastructure).
  7. Basic knowledge of programming with Python and/or node.js (desirable).
  8. Experience in implementing best practices and change management (desirable).
