The Project Manager is responsible for ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget. This position requires overseeing two types of projects: Grant related and internal projects.
For grant related projects, this role focuses on ensuring compliance with funding agency requirements, efficient resource allocation and timely reporting.
For the internal project, this role focuses on the development of our internal fabrication. Setting a timeline with tasks, costs, priorities and communicating a clear view to the team.
Responsibilities:
Project definition & communication
- Determine the timeline to purchase and fabricate internally.
- Provide a clear picture to the team of the costs and tasks associated with the timeline.
- Ensure deadlines, identify risks and set mitigation actions.
Resource Management
- Maintain the people dedication matrix, to ensure a balanced workload for grant related projects.
- Develop an asset and grant allocation matrix for CAPEX distribution.
- Identify unsubsidized expenses and explore funding opportunities.
Grant Compliance & Reporting
- Prepare grant justification documents and reports for funding entities.
- Ensure timely submission of required documentation to avoid grant loss.
- Coordinate internal and external audits related to grant funding.
- Maintain communication with consulting firms on tax incentives and compliance.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in project management, grants management or related roles (at least 2 years).
- Interest in regulatory compliance, and optimizing grant utilization.
- Strong organizational, communication and collaboration skills.
- Familiarity with EU and national funding mechanisms and regulations.
- Fluent in English (C1) and Spanish.
Work conditions:
Location: Offices and Lab in Carrer Veneçuela, 74, 08019, Barcelona, Spain.
On-site work, Monday to Friday. Flexible start time between 8-9am.
