The Limbach Group is the largest owner-managed laboratory group with more than 30 laboratory locations. The H&S laboratory software, which is used in over 100 hospitals, laboratory communities and specialist laboratories, is developed at the Rüsselsheim site.

Your tasks

• You develop a laboratory information system together with us
• You will work in the following areas:
• Order entry (order creation) / patient management
• Sample receipt, distribution and dispatch
• Recording of medical values
• Interfaces to measuring devices incl. quality control
• Interfaces to third-party systems
• Technical release and medical validation
• Creation of findings
• You will work in an environment that attaches great importance to quality - also in terms of testing and documentation
• You will contribute to the fulfillment of regulatory requirements in accordance with the IVDR
• You will support us in projects to modernize the system
• Porting the software to a Linux operating system and a PostgreSQL database
• Migration of all customer systems to a common software version
• Modular redevelopment of the laboratory information system
• Extension of the laboratory information system :
• You extend the laboratory information system with new features in the Fortran language
• As a system expert, you are a contact person for first and second level support
• You solve tricky puzzles in our legacy environment
• Modular new development of the laboratory information system :
• You support us in the complete new development of the laboratory information system, which is also checked and rewritten with regard to its requirements
• You develop microservices in the language C# and / or Rust
• You will use PostgreSQL or a NoSQL / NewSQL database as required
• You are involved from the ground up in developing modules of the new laboratory information system in a modern (hexagonal) architecture and according to SOLID principles

• You enjoy familiarizing yourself with new and old technologies and tools
• Your way of working is independent and your analytical thinking allows you to examine possible solutions from all sides
• You have a basic understanding of performance and load balancing and have both in mind when making decisions
• In addition, you have good communication skills and a good command of written and spoken German (language level C1)
