Profesor de Canto

Much more than just a modern singing academy, we are a community with more than 2000 vocal students and 10 years of experience in our record. We teach our own singing method, a combination of classical and modern vocal techniques that will guide you through your first steps as a live performer and beyond. With schools in Madrid and Barcelona, a Certified Teacher training program, plus an online virtual academy, we offer programs for everyone, from absolute beginners to aspiring Vocal Coaches. Role Description

This is a part-time / full-time on-site role as a Profesor de Canto (Singing Teacher) located in Barcelona. As a Singing Teacher, you will be responsible for providing vocal lessons and guidance to students, helping them develop their singing skills and performance abilities.

Qualifications

1. Proficiency in vocal techniques across various singing styles.
2. Experience in teaching singing, vocal coaching, and professional singing (recorded music, live performances).
3. Bachelor’s degree or higher in music with a specialization in singing, or an equivalent university qualification. ("Grado superior" in Spanish system)
4. Certified diploma from VocalStudio or a comparable modern singing methodology (SLS, IVA, Estil, MVT, etc.).
5. Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
6. Ability to accompany students on piano or guitar during lessons.
7. Passion for helping students develop their skills and achieve their vocal goals.
8. Proficiency in both Spanish and English (C2).
9. Willingness to learn and adapt to our sales system and teaching approaches.

Schedules

Required: Saturdays 10:00 - 20:00 (two-hour lunch break)

Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays 16:00 - 21:00

24,000 per year, with the possibility of additional bonuses for extra work, sales, etc.

Work is organized in multiple shifts with some flexibility, from Monday to Saturday, between 10:00 AM and 21:00 PM.
