Production Engineer

Wenham Carter are proudly partnered with an growing, innovative enterprise building stratospheric robots to capture high-resolution geospatial data.

They are seeking a Production Engineer to help scale up our manufacturing operations in Barcelona. Reporting to the Head of Manufacturing, you’ll work closely with R&D and Fleet Performance teams to optimize workflows, enhance quality processes, and support the assembly of our aerial robots.

Responsibilities

• Design and optimize the manufacturing space for efficient production
• Improve manuals and quality control processes
• Train and support assembly technicians
• Identify and resolve production bottlenecks
• Select and implement machinery and equipment
• Collaborate with engineering teams to enhance manufacturing processes

What You Bring

• Experience in a hardware production environment
• Background in robotics, aeronautics, drones, automotive, IoT, or similar fields
• Degree in industrial, mechanical, production, or electronics engineering
• Hands-on experience with fast prototyping, 3D printing, CNC machining (a plus!)
• Proactive, mission-driven, and not afraid to get hands-on when needed
