Production Engineer

Production & Manufacturing Engineer Robotics & Aerospace
Wenham Carter are partnered with a leading aerial robotics innovator, that are seeking an experienced Engineer in Production & Manufacturing to help ramp up their manufacturing floor in Barcelona, Spain. This position reports directly to the Head of Manufacturing and works closely with Fleet Performance and R&D teams.

Responsibilities:

1. Design the manufacturing space for optimal workflows.
2. Improve manufacturing manuals and setup quality processes.
3. Support the training and development of the assembly technicians in charge of building aerial robots.
4. Analyze performance bottlenecks and sourcing strategies to maximize manufacturing output.
5. Select and help set up machinery and equipment.
6. Collaborate closely with the other engineering teams to identify areas with the potential to improve manufacturing processes and/or reliability.

Requirements:

1. Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electronics, or Production Engineering.
2. Proven, dedicated experience in hardware production, preferably in Robotics, Aerospace, Drones, IoT, or Automotive industries.
3. Strong background in design, manufacturing, or testing of hardware and embedded systems.
4. Proven experience in managing technical teams and production operations.
5. Hands-on, problem-solving mindset with the ability to adapt in a fast-paced environment.
