We’re looking for a Product Manager – Payments who will drive the evolution of our payments platform, ensuring a seamless, secure and scalable payment experience for millions of users and partners across our multi-market ecosystem (eCommerce + Marketplace).

Job Description

Working model and location: Full-remote from Spain

Team: You will join the Customer Payments Team within the Customer Growth Area

Contract: Permanent – full-time (36 h/week)

In this role, you will:

  1. Own the Payments product domain, with focus on third-party integrations (e.g. PSPs, acquirers, APMs, BNPL providers), internal orchestration systems, checkout optimization, and fraud/chargeback flows.
  2. Define and articulate a clear product vision and roadmap aligned with the company’s growth strategy, particularly for high-volume B2C payment use cases.
  3. Lead the end-to-end product development cycle: from discovery and requirement gathering to backlog prioritization, delivery and post-release monitoring (including payment KPIs such as conversion rate, approval rate, cost per transaction).
  4. Collaborate with internal platform teams to ensure modular and scalable integration of third-party services, optimizing latency, availability and compliance.
  5. Support the checkout experience and payment UX improvements, collaborating with design and front-end teams to reduce friction and abandonment.
  6. Work closely with other internal teams to ensure smooth transaction handling, split payments, refund reconciliation and operational transparency.
  7. Partner with Legal, Risk, Finance and Customer Care to guarantee regulatory compliance, reduce chargebacks and streamline dispute handling.
  8. Conduct continuous discovery through customer interviews, usability tests, data analysis, and AB testing to deeply understand users’ behaviors and needs.

Minimum Requirements:

  1. 3-5 years of experience as a Product Manager in a digital environment, ideally in high-volume B2C e-commerce or marketplace platforms.
  2. Proven experience in online payments, including PSP/acquirer integrations, tokenization, APMs, 3DS, chargebacks, risk scoring, and settlements.
  3. Solid understanding of checkout flows and payment orchestration logic.
  4. Experience working with agile, cross-functional teams, with fast time-to-market expectations.
  5. Strong analytical mindset: confident working with KPIs, dashboards, SQL/basic data queries, experimentation frameworks.
  6. You’re comfortable collaborating across platform teams, third-party providers, compliance/legal, and customer support teams.
  7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  8. Have experience with risk scoring and/or API-based platforms and understand their operational/financial implications.
  9. Have worked in multi-market, multi-brand environments or marketplaces with complex payment set-ups.
  10. Are familiar with fraud prevention tools, chargeback mitigation and post-payment flows (refunds, settlements, ledger).
  11. Have previously owned or worked on internal payment platforms or orchestration layers.
