Lead Software Engineer (Remote – Europe)

Are you passionate about building cutting-edge digital products and leading a talented development team? We’re looking for a Lead Software Engineer to drive innovation, mentor a skilled team, and shape the future of our platform. In this role, you’ll have the opportunity to work with modern technologies, make key technical decisions, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-impact solutions.

What You’ll Be Doing:

1. Leading Development Efforts: Oversee the engineering team, guiding them through the full software development lifecycle, from planning and architecture to deployment and maintenance. You’ll play a critical role in shaping the direction of our technology and product development.
2. Collaborating with Product Managers: Work closely with Product Managers to translate business needs into technical solutions. You’ll help estimate workloads, prioritize tasks, and ensure smooth execution of projects that align with company goals.
3. Writing High-Quality Code: Actively contribute to development by writing clean, maintainable, and scalable code. You’ll enforce best practices in coding, testing, and documentation while ensuring performance and security are top priorities.
4. Driving Innovation: Stay up to date with the latest industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices to continually push the boundaries of what’s possible. Your insights will help drive forward-thinking solutions that enhance user experiences and system efficiency.
5. Mentoring and Supporting the Team: Provide guidance, mentorship, and technical support to team members. Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous learning, and professional growth to help each developer reach their full potential.
6. Ensuring Best Practices: Implement and maintain high standards for development processes, including version control, code reviews, testing frameworks, and CI/CD pipelines. Ensure alignment with industry best practices and company objectives.

What You Bring:

1. Expertise in PHP & Laravel: Strong experience in backend development using PHP and Laravel, with a deep understanding of modern PHP principles and frameworks.
2. Proficiency in Filament PHP: Hands-on experience with Filament PHP to build dynamic, data-driven applications with an intuitive user experience.
3. Frontend & Full-Stack Development: Good experience with React, TypeScript, and Node.js, allowing you to contribute effectively to both backend and frontend development.
4. Leadership & Communication Skills: A proven ability to lead development teams, collaborate with stakeholders, and communicate complex technical ideas effectively.

How You’ll Work:

1. Full-Time & Remote: This is a fully remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere in Europe while collaborating with a distributed team.
2. Monday to Friday (40 Hours Per Week): Maintain a structured and predictable work schedule with a strong work-life balance.
