Process Engineer

We are looking for a Process Engineer located in Súria (Barcelona).

As the Process Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing production processes, ensuring maximum efficiency and quality in our operations. Responsibilities:

• Develop and optimize processing processes for minerals to improve operational efficiency.
• Conduct performance analysis of processes and propose improvements based on data.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to implement continuous improvement projects.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation related to processes and operational procedures.
• Train personnel on new technologies and processes, ensuring their proper implementation.
• Monitor compliance with safety, quality, and environmental regulations in all operations.
• Research and evaluate new technologies and methodologies that can be applied in the plant.
• Apply analytical thinking to identify improvement opportunities and solve complex problems.
• Demonstrate adaptability to changes in the operational environment and project demands.
• Manage process improvement projects, ensuring that deadlines and objectives are met.

Qualifications:

• Graduate in Chemical, Mechanical, Mining, or Industrial Engineering.
• Basic understanding of unit operations.
• Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Passionate about innovation and technology.
• Fluent in English – Advantage.
• Experience in potash and salt production processes – Advantage.
