As Privacy Counsel, you'll be offering crucial privacy guidance to key stakeholders throughout the business on a wide array of privacy matters, including assisting with customer inquiries, transactions, and negotiations related to privacy, cybersecurity, data usage, data transfers, and other pertinent subjects. This position plays a critical role in partnering with the Legal, IT and business teams to drive the Cooper companies' strategic objectives and enhance privacy program.
A successful candidate will have experience of working within a Privacy Counsel role or equivalent level, within an international matrix organisation. You'll be confident in working at both a strategic and hands-on level, demonstrate a strong aptitude for quick learning and adaptability, along with excellent stakeholder management and communication skills. Having a good level of knowledge when it comes to EMEA data privacy and digital matters including GDPR, AI Act, Data Act is required, as well as having a basic knowledge of CCPA, HIPAA and other data privacy law. Having a strong analytical and project management approach will be beneficial in this role.
