Principal Architect - End client

Salary : Up to €95K + 15% Bonus + Benefits + 10% Stock Options

Location : Barcelona (Hybrid 3+2)

About the Role

We’re looking for a Principal Architect with 10+ years of experience in system architecture, design, and large-scale distributed systems. You’ll need a versatile skill set across front-end, back-end, and scripting technologies like Java, JavaScript, .NET, Angular, and cloud-native architectures (AWS).

You’ll mentor developers, shape technical direction, and tackle complex challenges. Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.

Responsibilities

1. Lead architectural design and influence technical strategy.
2. Participate in daily stand-ups, ensuring clear priorities.
3. Solve complex problems and optimize system performance.
4. Contribute to coding when needed, review code, and guide developers.
5. Collaborate with teams on security, UX, DevOps, and CI / CD.

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
2. 10+ years in software development with expertise in architecture and design.
3. Proficiency in Java, Python, C# / .NET, Angular, and databases.
4. Experience with API management (MuleSoft preferred) and microservices.
5. Deep knowledge of design principles, algorithms, and cloud-native (AWS) solutions.
6. Strong leadership, mentoring, and stakeholder collaboration skills.
