General Responsibility

As the Business Development Specialist, you’ll play a key role in the portfolio definition of the company, providing new solutions to patients. You will support candidate identification, project evaluation through cross-functional teams, and propose selected candidates to the board. This role involves close collaboration with the Business Development team and other external departments.

Specific Responsibilities

  • Prospect, identify, and evaluate new business opportunities worldwide.
  • Conduct in-depth market research and therapeutic area analysis.
  • Identify customer needs, respond to inquiries, and propose creative solutions or business models in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate transversal teams and solve problems and doubts during the project evaluation.
  • Provide regular reports on progress and opportunities.
  • Support in any other activities required in the Business Development Department.

Requirements and Personal Skills:

  • Languages: Spanish and English (advanced level).
  • Experience: 1-2 years in the Pharma industry, preferably in business development (generic business).
  • Specific Knowledge: Excel skills, data analysis.
  • Travels: No (occasional to 1-2 conferences/year).
  • Personal Skills: Excellent communication skills, proactive, goal-oriented approach with a high level of self-motivation, driven approach towards decision-making, ability to work independently and within a team is a must. Good organizational skills and problem-solving abilities.
