Acciona, on its Water Business Line, is looking for a Planning Engineer for its project based in London, UK.

Mission:

• Develop a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) in accordance with internal procedures, in collaboration with the Project Director, Cost Engineering, and the client.
• Implement a Detailed Baseline Project Schedule, integrating Engineering, Procurement, Supply, Construction, and Commissioning.
• Ensure compliance with all client requirements regarding contractual documentation to be delivered, such as progress reports, S-curves, planning, and other reports, in a timely manner.
• Create baseline project S-curves according to internal procedures.
• Calculate actual project progress and update S-curves monthly.
• Regularly update the project schedule.
• Monitor supply and subcontractor manufacturing schedules during both bidding and contractual phases to alert the responsible party in each area and the project manager of potential schedule impacts.
• Report project status to the Project Director, Project Control Department, and Production Department.
• Prepare reports as required by the client.
• Report any project delays.
• Develop acceleration plans as needed.
• Perform critical path analysis.
• Manage on-site resources, conduct weekly production control, forecast estimates, analyze results, and propose improvements.
• Analyze deviations and propose improvements.
• Carry out construction labor.
• Monitor subcontractors, progress, performance, and compliance with contractual plans.
• Collaborate in activating other areas to facilitate the achievement of project objectives.
• Incorporate Change Orders into the schedule and adjust baseline S-curves, as well as other documentation to be delivered to the client.
• Monitor and control subcontractor measurements and/or quantities using information from the Construction Department, identify any deviations, and assess their impact on schedule.
• Be aware of subcontractor certifications.
• Collaborate with the Project Director and Site Manager in the development and updating of personnel schedules.

Requisitos del candidato

Industrial/Civil/Mechanical Engineer with a minimum of 7-12 years of experience. Advanced English proficiency (C1 level).

Local contract in the UK.
