Job Description: Oil & Gas Company is looking for candidates for the position of Pipeline Technology Equipment Technician for their offshore project worldwide.
Role Description: Ensure the working status of the pipeline main line equipment during the project execution and during project preparation, installation, and start-up.
For Offshore Project, the Welding Equipment Technician will stay under the operational supervision of the Welding Foreman, working under the chief engineer/chief electrician technical supervision, and remains the technical reference point for all the Pipeline production equipment. Ensure compliance with safety/quality procedures/standards.
Tasks:
- Execute the activities within own area of responsibility on all the Pipeline technologies Equipment, ensuring compliance with QA/QC and HSE requirements.
- Perform electrical/mechanical works in accordance with safety and quality requirements.
- Perform electrical connections for equipment, circuit breakers, transformers, cabinets, and any other electrical apparatus.
- Ability to read technical drawings schematics (i.e., line diagram, electrical scheme, basic hydraulic diagrams), assuring that the equipment is installed/connected as per intent.
- Verify the equipment and materials are in good and safe operating conditions, reporting any anomalies to the pipeline technologies engineer.
- Assure a correct storage of the spare parts and verification of their compatibility with the installations.
- Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as Multimeters, meggers, oscilloscopes, to ensure compatibility, integrity, and safety of the system.
- Ensure coordination in the assigned working context (especially during simultaneous operations) to grant a safe work environment.
- Provide regular maintenance and repair of pipeline technologies equipment.
- Provide installation/connections of various electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment in all assigned project working areas.
- Install pipeline technologies equipment in accordance with the scope of work provided by the Pipeline technologies engineer.
- Provide mechanical and electrical repairs of the pipeline technologies equipment that does not need Third-Party assistance.
- Perform operations needed for the equipment requiring refurbishment.
- Follow and understand the permit to work statement.
- Assure that the planned maintenance in all the pipeline technologies equipment is done as per schedule/instructions.
- Assure that all the maintenance interventions are properly and exhaustively reported.
- Assure that all the possible and required modifications are done in line with the plan and properly reported.
- Be part of a continuous monitoring process of the pipeline technologies equipment, suggesting to the pipeline technologies engineer and Line management any possible modifications/upgrade to constantly improve, when necessary, their efficiency, functionality, and safety.
- Carry out all the necessary tasks described in the mission section respecting all the HSE policy and standards and make sure that all are in place.
- Assure a proper preservation of the pipeline technologies equipment on site when a long standby is expected, targeting the readiness of the equipment when required.
Requirements:
- Basic knowledge in reading electrical/mechanical drawings.
- Basic skills in problem-solving/troubleshooting.
- Experience with welding equipment and technologies (welding generators, automatic welding processes, plasma welding, induction heating).
- Knowledge in electrical and electrotechnical field.
- Able to process commissioning of electrical and instrumentation.
- 2 – 5 years of experience.
- Intermediate English level spoken and written is mandatory.
- Minimum MS Office/computer knowledge.

Contract start: As soon as possible (The contract starts on the Employee's designated date of departure to Work location)
Contract duration: 31 Dec 2025, subject to renewal
Work/leave rotation: 35 (paid work days)/ 35 (unpaid leave days)
Working hours: Offshore: 12 hours/day - 7 days/week; Onshore: 8 hours/day – 5 days/week
