Implement and monitor the compliance of physical security requirements as well as identifying and remedying deficiencies and gaps in the safety and security system at the locations of responsibility (reactive implementation control).
Report security breaches, security-related events, and deviations from applicable regulations to the respective Local Country Head, Chief Security Officer, and Physical Security Officer.
Make recommendations for continued security monitoring and risk mitigation efforts.
Provide ongoing assessment of current safety and security policies, protocols, and guidelines; consult with senior leadership.
Ensure that risks in the area of responsibility are recorded and tracked in the relevant risk database of the affected Business Unit/Corporate Function.
Promote awareness among employees and management at the locations of responsibility and support other functions in connection with security-related matters.
What You Bring
A minimum of 4 years of experience as Security Manager/Director in the area of Physical Security Operations. TIP certification in effect.
Accurate knowledge of physical security objectives (ideally in a second line of defense role and in the financial sector).
Knowledge of current regulations concerning physical security (legislation, fire, CCTV, alarms, etc.) and experience coordinating and managing cross-functional teams with shared responsibilities.
Demonstrated ability to quickly analyze situations, problem-solving, and organizational skills with the ability to be flexible and calm under pressure.
24/7 availability to provide support for major security emergencies as needed, and willingness to work some weekends and bank holidays.
Effective oral and written communication skills in Spanish and English to work with international teams (B2 level minimum).
