About the technological area

You will be part of the Advanced Communications Area, specifically focusing on micro-nanoelectronics and photonics, applying your knowledge to fields such as Communications, Aerospace, Security, or Broadcast, as well as exploring new technologies that will promote disruptive nanotechnology solutions.

Your main tasks

• Design photonic solutions for various applications, from system architecture to integrated circuit layout and simulations.
• Assemble, test, and validate hardware implementations and prototypes.
• Stay updated with photonic advancements, generating and investigating new concepts to enhance the photonics line.
• Support the team with development work and technology inquiries.

We are looking for

• Real experience in photonic technologies and understanding of underlying physical concepts.
• Experience with scientific programming and electromagnetic simulation tools.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Passion for new technologies and learning.
• Teamwork capability.
• Degree, Master, or PhD in photonics, physics, telecommunications, or related fields.

It would be great if you have...

• Master's in nanotechnology, photonics, microelectronics, or similar.
• Willingness to learn, grow, and acquire new skills in photonics.
• Drive to develop innovative solutions and deliver quality results.

What we offer

Salary: From 23,000€ SBA + 10% variable based on knowledge and experience. This is a starting point, and the goal is to reach an agreement during the process.
