Your Role: You will maintain constant communication with end users of applications to understand their needs and ensure the proper implementation of improvements or issue resolutions. You will also closely collaborate with application maintainers to coordinate maintenance activities and explain developments, in order to understand operational requirements and ensure that implemented solutions align with market changes.

Main Tasks:

• Specification, development, and testing of Market Operations EU system developments for participation in wholesale energy markets.
• Coordination and verification of deployments through communication with IT.
• Measurement of the added value provided by the Market Operations EU unit with different businesses.
• Propose, implement, and measure optimization strategies for market dispatch for Renewable and Commercial businesses, both in OMIE auctions and in continuous intraday.
• Support market operations and periodic reporting of Market Operations EU by programming internal tools or creating reports from market databases.
