Mission:

The Observability Expert will be responsible for designing and implementing the observability framework for the digital channel of the bank. The platform will centralize data from various sources—Tealium tagging, microservices, and BPM orchestrators—to provide a clear understanding of the channel's operations and support easy adoption and monitoring across all geographies.

This role requires collaborating with cross-functional teams to define and coordinate visualizations for key frontend functionalities, including Cards, Payments, Global Position & Landings, Security, Accounts, Frontend Services, Loans, Customer Services, Deposits, & Customer Management.

The Observability Expert will actively contribute to the design and development of dashboards and monitoring tools. A critical part of the role involves establishing governance for Tealium tagging, ensuring consistency between design, development, and data consumption. This requires a strong understanding of website tagging, the ability to interpret tagged data, and effective communication with stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.

Responsibilities:

  1. Observability Framework Design
  • Develop a comprehensive observability platform leveraging data from Tealium, microservices, and BPM orchestrators.
  • Create dashboards and monitoring tools to provide real-time insights into the digital channel’s performance and processes.
  • Visualization Coordination
    • Collaborate with product teams to define visualization requirements for all frontend functionalities.
    • Ensure consistency and quality in the visualizations across all functionalities and geographies.
  • Tealium Tagging Governance
    • Establish and maintain governance processes for Tealium tagging to ensure data consistency and accuracy.
    • Collaborate with design, development, and data teams to resolve discrepancies in tagging and data interpretation.
  • Stakeholder Communication
    • Work closely with local teams in various countries to support the adoption of the observability platform.
    • Conduct training and provide documentation to ensure effective utilization of monitoring tools.

    To be successful in the role you must have experience on:

    • 8 years of experience in observability or analytics for digital channels in a multi-country environment.
    • Strong knowledge of observability frameworks, including experience with dashboards and monitoring tools (e.g., Quicksight, Microstrategy, PowerBI, ELK).
    • Hands-on experience with Tealium tagging and its integration with analytics platforms.
    • Familiarity with microservices architecture and process orchestrators (BPM).
    • STEM graduated or related experience with programming background.
    • Previous experience in data governance, ideally in the financial sector.
    • Ability to interpret tagged data and derive actionable insights.
    • Strong problem-solving skills to address data inconsistencies and operational challenges.
    • Exceptional communication skills to liaise with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
    • Ability to train and support local teams in adopting monitoring tools.
    • High level of English.
