What the role entails

Some of the key responsibilities of our Test Automation QA Engineer will be:

1. Team member role that requires general supervision
2. Reviews software requirements and specifications
3. Conducts system analysis and creates documentation when necessary
4. Reports, records (using a specific quality management system like Jira), and monitors defects
5. Helps troubleshoot issues and retest bugs
6. Provides daily reporting and communication of work done
7. Collaborates with other team members or members on other sites when needed
8. Keeps up-to-date on the latest advances in the test community
9. Updates test cases to uncover more bugs and/or to align and comply with supported jurisdictional requirements
10. Checks that the game is compatible with supported software and hardware
11. Collates and manages internal or external feedback
12. Assists Product Team and Scrum Masters in collating and managing internal or external feedback
13. Advocates best QA practices
14. Creates automated tests based on requirements
15. Maintains the automation pipeline
16. Supports game production teams in setting up debugging automation
17. Mentors team members and manual QA regarding automation, facilitating best practices
18. Participates in daily meetings, plannings, and groomings, providing ideas of possible improvements
19. Automates processes by creating tools
20. Implements features in the automation framework

What we ask of you

1. Basic understanding of QA principles
2. At least 2 years of experience in programming, preferably C#
3. Team player with good communication skills
4. Solid problem-solving skills

Apart from the required skills:

1. Experience in HTML, CSS, JavaScript
2. Experience in any CI/CD tool
3. Knowledge of C#
4. Experience in applying programming principles and design patterns
