Aethos Mallorca – Our hotels

Aethos Mallorca is the latest addition to our carefully curated collection of hotels, set to open in June 2025. Position summary

As Night Auditor, I will be the main point of contact for guests during the night shift, ensuring a seamless and memorable stay. I will deliver personalized service, anticipate guest needs, and exceed expectations.

My role includes managing check-ins and check-outs, addressing inquiries, and ensuring accurate financial reports and transaction audits. I will also support the Front Office team in maintaining operational excellence, creating a welcoming atmosphere, and addressing guest concerns professionally.

• Operational Ownership
• I will ensure the smooth operation of night shifts by:
• Supporting a guest-centric culture and raising awareness among colleagues about the importance of guest experience.
• Managing the guest experience from arrival to departure, including special occasions, with precision and warmth.
• Addressing inquiries and resolving concerns promptly and professionally.
• Coordinating reservations, transportation, and special requests to ensure personalized service.
• Handling check-ins, check-outs, and guest interactions.
• Conducting nightly audits and ensuring accurate reporting.
• Monitoring security and safety protocols for guest and host well-being.
• Reviewing PMS reports and resolving discrepancies.
• Maintaining detailed guest profiles for personalized service.
• Managing host schedules to ensure professionalism and punctuality.
• Ensuring the accuracy of daily checklists.
• Maintaining knowledge of resort facilities, services, and policies.
• Coordinating with Bell hosts, Housekeeping, Room Service, and Security to enhance guest satisfaction.
• Supporting the upselling program and preparing for the next day's operations.
• Coordinating guest transfers with transportation providers.
• Performing additional tasks as assigned by senior leadership.

• Handling guest complaints and suggestions, logging them, and ensuring timely resolution.
• Monitoring guest feedback and implementing service recovery when necessary.
• Offering directions and accompanying guests when required.
• Ensuring compliance with procedures and brand standards.

Financial Performance

I will contribute to the financial success of the Front Office team by:

• Conducting nightly audits, ensuring accurate financial reporting and reconciliation across all outlets and departments.
• Identifying and addressing discrepancies or irregularities in financial records promptly.
• Managing all Front Office and PMS end-of-day processes, including reconciling and ensuring accurate host Cashier Closures.
• Preparing and submitting comprehensive nightly financial reports to senior management.
• Completing all required reporting accurately and on time, including HR documents, quality assessments, and operational reports.
• Supporting upselling and cross-selling initiatives to maximize room revenue, using in-depth knowledge of room categories and features.
• Managing resources efficiently to balance service excellence with cost-effectiveness.
• Adhering to hotel credit policies regarding the acceptance of foreign currencies, credit cards, and cash.
• Strictly following cashier procedures, maintaining accurate reports, and balancing the assigned bank.
• Providing necessary information to Finance and Management during unannounced cashier audits.
• Staying informed about packages, promotions, and discounts relevant to guest accounts and reservations.
• Analyzing guest feedback and operational data to identify revenue growth opportunities.

People Management Support

As a Night Auditor, I will guide and support the nighttime Front Office team to achieve excellence by:

• Conduct training and onboarding for new hosts to enhance skills and service standards.
• Conducting regular performance evaluations and providing constructive feedback.
• Promoting a positive and collaborative team culture.
• Driving host engagement through recognition and growth opportunities.
• Supporting colleagues in achieving team goals and delivering exceptional service.

• Previous experience in similar roles, preferably within luxury hospitality.
• Proficiency in hotel management systems (e.g., MEWS, HUBos) and MS Office.
• Exceptional communication skills in English and Spanish; additional languages are a plus.
• A proactive, solution-oriented mindset with attention to detail and a can-do attitude.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and multitasking abilities to manage guest requests efficiently.

• Flexibility in scheduling, including night and day shifts, weekends, and holidays, with the ability to work under pressure in a dynamic hotel environment.
• Physical requirements include standing and walking for extended periods.
