What we look for? We are seeking a Network Architect with extensive experience in solution development and validation including Telco Cloud Platform, RAN, Open RAN/O-RAN, LTE/4G and 5G deployments, OSS/BSS, platform models such as NFV and distributed/federated edge platforms (e.g. ETSI MEC) to collaborate in a project with a customer from the telco sector. This is a 100% remote position for people located in Spain.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Design, validate, and optimize telecom solutions for fixed and/or mobile networks (Core & Access).
2. Experience with NFVI and cloud native infrastructure for 4G/5G Core and Cloud RAN network functions.
3. Provide technical leadership on network design, solution integration, and end-to-end solution validation of 5G solutions for Telco customers.
4. Act as a technical expert for 5G network workloads deployed across the hybrid cloud, core, edge, and radio technologies.
5. Solve complex problems independently through requirements gathering, industry research, and collaboration with existing assets.

Mandatory Requirements:

1. Proven record of working in large mobile network systems either as a member of technical staff for a network equipment provider or networking technology provider with expertise in 5G solutions development, validation, optimization, and lifecycle management.
2. Integration of virtualized and non-virtualized network services, OSS architecture, and orchestration.
3. VNF/CNF Lifecycle Management.
4. Good understanding of 3GPP specifications as related to CU, DU, and RU.
5. Exposure & knowledge of O-RAN specs, TIP/OpenRAN projects, and/or ONF SD-RAN.
6. Hands-on experience in various virtualization platforms (e.g., VMware, Kubernetes, Wind River, RedHat, etc.), DevOps, lifecycle management, and test automation.
7. In-depth technical knowledge and experience in designing and deploying Telco networks using cloud-native solutions.
8. Demonstrable experience and expertise in automation, performance, lifecycle management, public/hybrid cloud architectures.
9. OpenShift and OpenStack over GCP/Azure/AWS.
10. English B2.
