What You’ll Do
- Design & Develop – Engineer cutting-edge munitions, ensuring seamless integration into UAV platforms for maximum efficiency and impact.
- Test & Validate – Conduct rigorous testing, simulation, and validation processes to ensure payload performance, safety, and compliance with industry standards.
- Innovate & Optimize – Research the latest advancements in ammunition technology, fuzing, and drone payload delivery systems to stay ahead of the curve.
- Collaborate Across Teams – Work closely with avionics, software, and flight operations teams to ensure the perfect synergy between payload, drone architecture, and mission objectives.
- Conduct Risk Assessments – Identify potential risks, analyze their probability and severity, and define mitigation measures to enhance operational reliability.
- Documentation & Reporting – Maintain detailed technical documentation, test reports, and design iterations to support continuous improvement and compliance.
Requirements
What You’ll Need
- Must-Have:
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related technical field.
Proven experience in munition design.
Strong knowledge of UAV payload integration and function.
Experience with explosive ordnance and safety regulations.
Proficiency in CAD/CAE software.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to optimize performance and weight constraints.
English proficiency (it’s our working language!). - Nice-to-Have:
Experience in military-grade payload systems or defense-related projects.
Familiarity with ballistics, impact physics, and warhead technology.
Knowledge of sensor integration for precision targeting.
Background in computational simulations and modeling for payload performance.
Fluency in French or Spanish is a plus.
