Mine Operations Manager

We are Magnesitas Navarras, part of Grupo Roullier, specializing in the extraction and transformation of magnesite for commercialization in the steel, agri-food, and environmental industries.

We are currently seeking a Mine Operations Manager for our mine located in Eugui, Navarra.

The successful candidate will report to the Mine Manager and work closely with other departments. The role includes the following key responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities:

• Organize and oversee mine operations within the scope of the authorized exploitation project.
• Coordinate with the factory to schedule mining activities based on ore requirements.
• Supervise and manage personnel, including scheduling shifts, work plans, and overall team management.
• Monitor ore quality, taking corrective actions when deviations are identified.
• Coordinate the “Restoration Plan”, managing tasks to be carried out by both in-house personnel and subcontractors.
• Develop and manage the machinery and equipment maintenance plan.
• Ensure that the entire mining production process complies with Environmental, Quality, and Risk Prevention regulations.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Mining Engineering.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in similar roles is preferred.
• Experience and/or knowledge in the use of SURPAC and AutoCAD software is an asset.
• Intermediate/advanced proficiency in English.
