WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

The Global Middle Office team provides support to the Front Office departments in the SAM units. We are looking for an experienced Matching and Settlement Middle Office Expert to manage the end-to-end process and asset reconciliation to support the Investment Team and resolve the incidences generated by using the Aladdin tool at a Global level.

We need someone like you to help us in different fronts:

1. Active participation in the Matching and Settlement process in Aladdin system by analyzing the information received from the custodians.
2. Investigate the pending Exceptions once finished the Recon process.
3. Support, oversee, and resolve all incidences that could affect other Middle Office internal or Investment teams processes.
4. Improve the current processes through automation.
5. Manage other systems/applications (Back Office systems) to obtain more information or solve doubts.
6. Coach new players into Aladdin and the company’s processes.
7. Strive to improve any processes actively participating in the Front Office company initiatives.
8. Follow up the internal departmental scorecard, embedded in the Global Middle Office Department governance.
9. Follow payments and settlement of OTCs, TRS, Terms & Deposits, and Derivatives.
10. CSDR Regulation knowledge.

EXPERIENCE

Our Middle Office Cash Recon Expert typically has a track record of outstanding professional performance or academic achievement for more than 5 years, along with excellent knowledge of Cash Recon processes, analytical skills, and financial skills as well as strong communication skills.

Candidates should have a strong ability to work in a Global collaborative environment and to present results to both expert and non-expert audiences. Our middle office analysts will use Aladdin extensively, so a thorough understanding of these tools is required.

EDUCATION & KNOWLEDGE

1. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Economics, Physics, Maths, or Engineering.
2. Very good knowledge of Aladdin system.
3. Needs to prove that he/she has managed matching and settlement processes.
4. Good knowledge of Markets and SSI, OTCs, TRS, Terms and Deposits, and Derivatives procedures.
5. Highly organized and able to work to deadlines and manage competing priorities under significant time pressures.
6. Proactive, strong reasoning and problem-solving skills, able to develop pragmatic solutions to complex problems.
7. Confidence to lead projects and coach new members.
