An ambitious forward-thinking Swiss Dermatology company has an exciting career opportunity for a Senior Medical Representative to be based in Madrid.

Stratpharma has, over the past 5 years, experienced tremendous growth in the European market and is keen to strengthen their team in Spain to further this success.

An ambitious company with impressive year-on-year growth, Stratpharma currently has 8 products on the market and has 5 more in development which will be released soon, adding to an already strong portfolio.

The Senior Medical Representative is responsible for delivering consistent performance results within a defined geographical area and working with the Country Manager in managing & developing Stratpharma's sales team throughout Spain. This position will serve as our second-in-command in Spain.

The successful candidate shall promote breakthrough wound care, gynecology, radiotherapy, and dermatology products that launched into the Spanish market several years ago.

Tasks

  • Achieving and exceeding individual territory business and revenue goals.
  • Providing education and training to account staff.
  • Preparing and presenting business proposals including account metrics and benchmark information.
  • Identifying key customers and thought leaders within the territory.
  • Effectively and judiciously deploying the necessary resources to yield the greatest business impact.
  • Developing thorough account plans for all strategic customers.
  • Managing territory budget.
  • Providing input to the Country Manager on strategy for the Spanish market.
  • Assisting in managing Medical Representatives.
  • Executing Sales Process effectively.
  • Delivering sales message/presentation in an organized and effective manner.
  • Demonstrating exceptional product and competitive knowledge and using it effectively in planning and implementing sales presentations.

Organization / Time Management

  • Independently planning territory routing to consistently achieve territory account coverage.
  • Submitting all administrative reports, expense reports, and business plans accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Prioritizing daily tactics based on greatest business impact.

Customer Relations

  • Demonstrating a customer-centric approach to business planning, use of medical promotion skills, and sales process.
  • Uncovering the customer’s needs and providing the appropriate information, resources, and message to deliver maximum value.
  • Leveraging knowledge of key customers and Key Opinion Leaders (KOLs) to identify the territory network in the plastic surgery community.
  • Developing and building long-term strategic business relationships with core customers.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of current medical promotion experience within Gynecology, Radiotherapy, Wound Care, or Dermatology advantageous.
  • Experience of promoting OTC products and visiting pharmacies.
  • Call points are Pharmacies and Medical professionals.
  • Sales experience within prescription devices or drugs advantageous.
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and oral/written communication skills.
  • Able to work independently.
  • Documented medical promotion success.
  • High level of spoken and written English.
  • University degree.
